I'm so resistant to putting myself out there when there's a real chance of rejection. Eg. I don't want to show someone how interested I am in them before knowing how interested they are in me, don't want to be the first to flirt because it's vulnerable to rejection; on a smaller scale, hesitant to put out an idea that I don't already know will be well accepted.
